Ask Think ImagineSample
Planted
Today's passages share a key lesson to living a life where God is consistently able to do immeasurably more than all we ask, think, or imagine.
What would it take for you to say this?
- I’m flourishing spiritually, relationally, and financially.
- I know every year I'll constantly see God's fruit in my life.
- Even in the tough times, I trust God and have no worries.
What's the key to living that life? It's to plant yourself and remember where you plant yourself—and how long you stay planted—matters.
Nobody would expect to grow apples from a tree planted in the desert. Or see a giant sequoia tree reach its full height if dug up and re-planted every week. But how often do we plant ourselves in the wrong place or uproot when things are too slow?
Are you planted in the right places? Ask God to reveal the answers to these questions:
- Am I planted anywhere hindering me from God?
- Where can I plant myself instead?
- Where should I stay planted when I feel like moving on?
