Impossible Dreams

Never in my wildest dreams did I think God would have orchestrated our adoption path so beautifully. Seven years ago, we started the international adoption process. We desired two daughters since we had two sons who were best friends. Our agency said not to get our hopes up because it was very rare for sisters to be available. Also, the cost was much higher than we could afford.

It’s a good thing it wasn’t up to us. God led us to two adorable sisters at just the right time. He also provided the funds without any debt. Where did that money come from? How did the timing work out so perfectly? God took care of it.

It’s been almost five years since we brought our princesses home, but I still look back on God’s faithfulness. He made the impossible possible. He gave us more than we could have ever hoped for. When you have a desire in your heart but it doesn’t add up on paper, or people have discouraged you, look to Him. He is the author of your story. His ways are so much better than ours.
