There's Hope For TodaySample

Hope is a powerful motivator. I experienced the power of hope a few years ago when we put our home on the market.
For the hope of a better place, we radically changed the way we looked at our old home. As long as we were living without expectation of a change, needed projects languished, the carpets were tolerable, the paint was adequate and the cabinets were just fine. But when expectations changed, all projects became urgent: the carpet had to go, the paint was awful, and the cabinets demanded attention. Hope caused us to fix it, paint it, clean it, carpet it, power wash it, pitch it, replace it, change it, spray it, and sell it. When hope fades, our spiritual house falls into disrepair, routine wears us threadbare, and procrastination robs us of needed maintenance. When hope is gone, life fades to gray. Victorious living requires that we no longer see the world through the eyes of ownership, but through the eyes of the One who has purchased us!
It’s His vision of who we can be that inspires us to change. Don’t give up; look up. Don’t back up; rise up. You don’t have to stay the same. He’s going to take you on to a better place.
