The Wise Men Gave GOLD
The Wise Men gave three gifts to Jesus. The first gift that they gave was gold. This would have been useful for Jesus, Mary and Joseph. They were poor and gold would have helped them in times of need but it also signified that Jesus was a king. The wise men were communicating, through their gift, that they knew Jesus was king.

- Pray: Jesus, take your place as king of my life and may you rule as king of my speech, king of my actions, king of my school and king of my home. Amen.

And hidden within the Christmas story are a multitude of treasures, so many examples of God’s great love and involvement with us. In this Mini BigB Advent edition film resource, Brian (the puppet) and Dave generally have a lot of fun but also provide a little something for us to ponder in this busy season. This is a great resource for 6-11 year old children and for anyone with a childish sense of humour.
