Great Adventurers (Week 3)Sample

Great Adventurers (Week 3)

DAY 5 OF 7

Day Five - Set Apart

Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible.

God’s plan is always the best plan, even when it looks a bit uncertain, we can be bold and trust God!

READ:

‘The Fiery Furnace’ in the Beginners Bible (Pages 247-251) or in Daniel 3.

God had sent an angel to protect Rack, Shack, and Benny from the fire - they did not get hurt at all!

The King shouted to the men, ‘Your God has saved you!’

The King was so amazed that he praised God for keeping the three Great Adventurers safe in the fire. The fire had not hurt them, they did not even smell of smoke! With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”

King Nebuchadnezzar made the three Great Adventurers rulers in his kingdom!

Sometimes things may seem impossible, but with God, all things are possible!

ASK:

Can you think of some impossible things that you have seen God make possible?

Chat with your grownup about these things, and maybe you could spend some time drawing or writing down some of the good things that God has made possible?

Don’t forget to ask your grownups to send us some photos of your ideas on Facebook and Instagram.

REMEMBER:

‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19:26)

SAY:

I’m an adventurer,

I am bold, I am strong with the word of the Lord,

I will follow wherever you lead.

I won’t stop, I’ve been set free.

In Jesus name, Amen!

Day 4Day 6

About this Plan

Great Adventurers (Week 3)

In the Bible, we see that through ‘Great Adventurers’ God has changed the world around them for good. God can take the seemingly bad things and turn them for good. We will follow in the footsteps of these ‘Great Adventurers’ and see how God, through their boldness, changed the world around them! This week we’re looking at the story of Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego.
