Train Your SpiritSample
Hungry heart!
Feeding God’s Word to our hearts helps our hearts grow bigger and stronger. When we take the time to memorize verses from the Bible, God will bring them back to our minds right when we need them to help us!
God also speaks to us through prayer! Talking and listening to God can be an open, ongoing conversation throughout the whole day. We can talk to God in the car, at school, while drawing, walking, playing quietly alone—anytime is a good time to talk to God! And God is always ready to talk to us, too!
Play Preacher Time to help you remember Matthew 4:4, and watch the Verse Motions video so you can share it with your friends!
Preacher Time
- Read Matthew 4:4 out loud to your family or friends.
- Pretend you’re a preacher! Teach your family and friends what the verse means and everything they can be thankful for.
- Let each person in your family try to say the verse out loud without any help.
Talk it over: Talk about your favorite Bible verse. It might be this week’s verse, or it might be another verse you’ve learned in the past. How does this verse feed your heart?
