DAY 4 OF 8

Training Time!

To get better at anything, you have to train. Whether it’s learning to ride a bike, or dribbling a ball, or playing an instrument, you can only get better with practice! We can train our brains to think first about what the Bible says about something so we can always know what God’s Word has to say!

First, it’s important to get into position. Just like athletes plan where they’re going to be so they can catch the ball when it’s thrown to them, we can plan our time to be in the best position to receive from God. Exercising might not always feel good at first, but we do it to get stronger. We don’t just train spiritually because we feel like it—we choose to do it every day to grow closer to God.

Bible Boogie

  1. Play a good dance song.
  2. Sing 1 Timothy 4:8 to the music.
  3. Invent dance moves to show what 1 Timothy 4:8 says.
  4. Teach your song and dance about 1 Timothy 4:8 to your family.
