DAY 7 OF 11

Keep Calm

Joshua 1:9

So don’t be afraid. The Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go.

After Moses had taken the Israelites out of Egypt, Pharaoh began to regret his decision. He was thinking, who would do all the hard labor? So, Pharaoh took his best men and chariots to chase after the Israelites.

When the Israelites saw that the Egyptians were chasing after them, they were scared. But Moses told them, "Don’t be afraid...The Lord Himself will fight for you... Just stay calm."

God fought for them and showed His power. God split the Red Sea into two sides so they could walk on dry ground across the sea. The Egyptians tried to go after them, but the wheels of their chariots were stuck and it was really difficult for them to drive. When the Israelites had safely crossed the Red Sea, the water went back to normal, and it swallowed up Pharaoh and his army

If you are in the midst of a “battle” right now, just stay calm and remember that God cares about you. Please be assured that He will fight the “battle” for you, so you will see His power and you will be a winner.

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for always taking care of me and helping me when I need help. Amen.
