Amazing Grace
Titus 2:11
That is the way we should live, because God’s grace has come. That grace can save every person.
Only after God sent the tenth plague did Pharaoh repent and agree to let the Israelites go. When God passed over the Israelites’ homes in the night when the Egyptians’ firstborns died, the Israelites were saved from the plague and that’s why they called it the Passover.
The Passover is to celebrate the freedom of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Passover becomes a celebration of God’s amazing grace. The Israelites still remember this special day that they celebrate by having a Passover meal from generation to generation.
The next time you are having a happy meal from McDonald's, take a moment to thank God for your food and for His blessings, and remember His amazing grace. You also need to celebrate God’s amazing grace regularly to always be reminded of what He has done for you.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for saving me. Help me to always remember and celebrate Your amazing grace in my daily life. Amen.
