GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 4 - SHARESample
April 28—God’s Instructions
Read
Luke 10:1-11
Reflect
As we read about the 72 that Jesus chose to go and labor, we can find ourselves in that grouping. We, too, have been chosen to go into the “harvest.” The harvest is plentiful, but the harvesters (workers) are few. What happens when the harvest exceeds the capacity of the workers to bring it in? What are we asked to do before we go out into the harvest? What does Jesus say that makes you realize that this could be difficult, even dangerous?
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Matthew 24:14. Spend a few minutes working to memorize it.

About this Plan
This week we will discover God’s plan to mobilize mission so that the whole world will know the name of Jesus. His plan from the very beginning was for his people to make him known among the nations. The church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been commissioned to make disciples of every nation.
