This week we will discover God’s plan to mobilize mission so that the whole world will know the name of Jesus. His plan from the very beginning was for his people to make him known among the nations. The church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, has been commissioned to make disciples of every nation.
What does this look like? Every believer declares God’s story in every corner of the globe, beginning in our own neighborhoods. Every believer witnesses to the death and resurrection of Jesus and the life-changing power of the good news to everyone they meet. The only way the gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world is if everyone obeys what Jesus asked us to do: preach the gospel and make disciples.

Read this week’s memory verse, Matthew 24:14. You’ll be working on memorizing this verse throughout the week. Today, simply read it and rest.
