God’s Will is Best

Discernment in your morals, mission, and marriage will be key to changing your life and thoughts. You can change the world and live with joy through God’s will. You do not do that contrary to the Creator, you do that in combination and cooperation with Him. This will be difficult at times because life on earth has its trials. 

I became a Christian when I was sixteen years old. I experimented with drugs, I drank, and I partied with my friends. But a church who loved teenagers shared God’s Word with me. They loved me and because of them, I am now a child of God. God wants to use us. It is not about your or me. It is about Jesus – passing Jesus and God’s love to the next generations. 

God’s will is best for your life. So, you have to wait a couple of years for a cellphone. Or everybody has a Snapchat account but you. You might not get everything you want, but God has big plans for you. Surrender to heaven and you will find your significance on earth. Be a thermostat and not a thermometer. God will do great things in and through you. 

You are a hard-working generation with great potential. Nobody is more for you than the adults in your life, but take the wisdom we share with you. Be smart enough to receive it and avoid the potholes that many of us stepped into in our lives. 

I want to conclude with a prayer. Maybe you do not know Christ as your Savior and you just need, like me when I was 16 years old, to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. He was the substitute that paid for your sins. As we end this devotional, feel welcome to repeat this prayer. 

“Lord, I pray that you would do something in me. I ask for Jesus to come into my heart and be my Savior. Transform my mind and heart. I want to be used and to change the world for your glory. Fill me with discernment so that I am able to discover your will. Your will is best for my life. Guide me through the difficult times. I trust this in Jesus’ name, amen.”
