HOPE

Jeremiah was struggling against a sinful nation. This nation did not want to live under the guidance of God, instead living in sin. This nation lived without hope in God. Jeremiah strongly warned this nation that "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:5 NKVJ)

The Word of God delivered by Jeremiah was a harsh warning to the people, but it is a warning for us as well. We must rely on God and put our hope only in God and not rely on our own power. As humans we often rely on our own strength in living our lives as if we are capable of facing everything alone.

If we rely on our own strength we will not be blessed by God. As we know that God created everything, it is necessary for us to rely on God and put our hope in Him. When we want to learn to rely on Him then our lives will be blessed.

Do not put your hope in the world but put your hope in God, as God always fulfills His promises.
