DO NOT RELY ON YOUR OWN POWER

One day Mr. Bambang's farming business went bankrupt, leaving all of his assets withdrawn by the bank because of his heavy debts. Mr. Bambang had two daughters who were still in school, Anto and Ana. He made every effort to rebuild his business. But he failed.

One day he remembered that all along he had forgotten to rely on God in every aspect of his business. He tried to rise again and this time Pak Bambang decided to rely on God in every step. God opened the way for Mr. Bambang and his business could rise again.

The above story reminds us of the Israelites who wanted to get out of Egypt. When they came out facing a problem they immediately complained that God was not with them. They complained every time they faced any challenges. Yet the Israelites did not realize that what brought them out of Egypt was the power of God and not because of their own strength.

Therefore, as believers, even if we have wealth, position, and power, we should not ever use our own power, but rely on God in every step we take.

The one who relies on God in every step he takes will never be disappointed.
