Book of Isaiah

DAY 12 OF 22

GOD’S HELP

The boat of life may not always sail smoothly. Sometimes we face a big wave, sometimes it is very smooth but sometimes we face a storm. But in whatever season our life and situations, we need to live by faith and full of hope in God. For us believers, we hold onto the promises of God, the hope and salvation that God has given us, and not rely on our thoughts and abilities.

Isaiah conveys the Word of God to the people of Israel to be prepared to face God's judgment. Even when they face the bitterness of life, God loves them, and God has set His appointed time to save them.

God's salvation has been revealed to man. Jesus has been the source of living water for those who are dry and thirsty (John 7:37-38). Jesus is the source of living water that always flows to everyone who believes in Him. Anyone who drinks water from Him will always be relieved and strengthened even if the life we live is so difficult. God will give strength to us who continue to face and believe in His Word.

The Word of God reveals for us to be empowered and unafraid, for those who face the future with faith will produce triumph and joy. Even God reminds us to always give thanks in all things and circumstances. What determines our life is not what we have earned, nor is it a failure, or problem that is happening, but our future is determined by the Lord Jesus who brings us to His salvation.

Be strong and not fearful for the Lord will triumph for us.
