Lent: Remembering the Life of Jesus

DAY 22 OF 47

Healing: Ten Men with Leprosy

Bible Reading: Luke 17:11-19

Further Study

  • How was this healing different than previous healings?
  • Of the ten men who were healed, how many returned to thank Jesus? What was the response?
  • Samaritans were despised by the Jews. This leper who returned was one of them. What does this speak to you?

Reflect

  • Worship: Write down one attribute of God and worship Him for who He is.
  • Prayer: Pray for the salvation of people in your life who don’t know Jesus.
  • Remembrance: Think back to a time when God showed up in your life. If you didn’t thank Him for His work in your life then, thank Him now.
  • Self-Examination: Do you consider yourself a grateful person? Write your thoughts down and ask God for any insight about this.

A Kind Act

  • Learn someone's name today and remember it the next time you see them.

About this Plan

Lent: Remembering the Life of Jesus

The season of Lent is a period leading up to Easter Sunday. It’s a time of reflection on Christ’s life, from His birth to His death. There’s a daily reflection piece for each of the 47 days of this Plan. We encourage you to get a small journal to write your thoughts down. Begin this Plan on Ash Wednesday, and your final day will be on Easter Sunday.
