Think about this: you go to a restaurant to eat and not to work out. Or you go to a shoe store to buy shoes, not to watch a football game. We go to specific places for specific reasons.

Jesus came to Earth for a very specific reason: to seek and save the lost. This simply means that He wanted a way for all of us to be close to Him again. If that was the main motivation for God to send Jesus, shouldn’t it be a motivation for those who follow Jesus? So many of us know friends, family members, teammates, or even people in our church who are struggling—people who are lost. And as believers in Jesus, we have access to the One who can help them—the one who can save them. How would your life look different if you were motivated to share the message of Jesus with those who are hurting and lost because you know what they need? This week, find one way to offer a little bit of that message and hope with someone in your life who needs it.
