You’ve heard the saying: Treat others the way that you wanted to be treated. Well, this is exactly what Jesus is telling us in Luke. If you want to be forgiven, forgive. If you don’t want to be judged, don’t judge people. If you want to be respected, show respect to others. The list goes on and on. It’s easy to read, but hard to live out, isn’t it? We know what we should do, but actually living that way is another story. We can’t do it alone. We need God’s help. 

So this week, ask yourself: How can I become what I want to see? How can I treat others the way I want to be treated? How can I do this first? Make a list of ways you see God leading you to live according to His calling in this verse. And when you struggle to do so, ask for His help!
