Overcomers
Revelation 17:14
“The Lamb will overcome them because he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings – and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”
The schemes of Satan to command the worship of all peoples, tribes and languages have been many. Daniel 3 was Nebuchadnezzar’s attempt to command universal worship and was only resisted by three Jews who refused to bow down to a statue. The cost of overcoming was their lives. Eventually Nebuchadnezzar came to the place of worshipping the Living God – but it didn’t come quickly. The fury of the beast has been manifest in dictators throughout history. Overcomers who worship and follow the Lamb are called, chosen and faithful. They serve the Lamb and His mission to bring life and freedom to every culture, people and language. Who we serve will be tested; our mission in life will be tested. One day all will acknowledge that the Lamb of God is the Lord of lords and the King of kings!
Lord Jesus, I worship, serve and follow you! Thank you that I am called, chosen and faithful through your grace and power.
