Listening To The Word - 1 YearSample
God’s Glory
Ezekiel 9:4
“Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”
Revelation 4:8, 11
“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come…You are worthy our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Those who know the Lord God Almighty and know His presence, live for His glory. They lament the sin and rebellion of their city and their people and desire that the worship of God and His holiness fill their city. Those who know God’s presence are more aligned with the purposes of God and His Kingdom than their own countries or cities. Those who know the living God will never give the worship that is due to the Lord God Almighty to a man or a political system. Those who know the presence of the Lord God Almighty humbly acknowledge that they were created by God and for God’s glory…their lives are a temple of the Holy Spirit and they experience conviction and grieve when any sin violates the glory of God in their lives. They live for God.
Lord Jesus, I worship you. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. May your Kingdom come and your will be done in my life and on earth as it is in heaven.
