The Just Shall Live By FaithSample
And The Word Was Made Flesh.
God’s Word is true. God’s Word is alive. God loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for you. Jesus Christ knew no sin. Jesus was, and is, the sinless sacrifice who died for your sins and the sin of the world. He died so that you might have life and life more abundantly.
John 3:16 KJV declares, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
God put on flesh in order to conquer sin, death, hell and the grave — reconciling man back to God. When sin entered the earth through man, Adam gave up his authority in the earth. When sin entered the world, man became a servant and slave to sin.
Genesis 2:16-17 KJV declares, “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
God’s Word, to Adam, was to dominate and to eat freely from every tree of the garden, but not to touch or eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The penalty for disobedience was death.
Disobedience breeds death. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 KJV. Death is the payment for sin. God could not override His Word. He is bound by His Word. So instead of going against His Word, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, in the flesh, to fulfill His Word in order to fully satisfy the penalty for sin — reconciling man back to God — Himself.
Sin is selfish. Lust is selfish. But love is selfless. Jesus Christ died for your sin. Although Christ knew no sin — He became as sin in order to set you free from sin.
Choose to be set free through Jesus Christ. Those in Christ have the opportunity to be set in right standing with God. You can live by faith — if you surrender to Him. Through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ you are washed, cleaned, delivered, and set free — you are redeemed. Through Christ you are justified. Surrender to Christ and let God set you free from the entanglement and bondage of sin. Be set free in Christ. The just shall live by faith.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, simply pray this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my sin. I turn to You. Father, I receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose just for me.
I believe that His Blood washes me and cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Father, in You, I am set free. Father, through the Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ my past is history and my future is bright.
Father, In You, I am made new. Father, in You, I am complete. Father, in You, I am made whole. Father, in You, I am restored. Father, I surrender every area of my life to You now and forever. In Jesus Name. Amen.
