We all want to be blessed and happy. The problem is, we think we know what we need to make us happy. Most of the time, we are wrong. God knows. He says, "fear me,” and you will find blessings and joy. If we have reverence for His majesty, we will delight in His Word, and in doing so, we will find joy and blessings. True happiness can only be found in God.
Dear God, help me to delight in You and in Your ways! Help me to not only praise you with my words but also with my life. Instead of looking to the world for my happiness, help me to always turn to You. Amen.
