Your Story

One of the best ways you can share Jesus with those around you is to share what He has done in your life. Everyone loves a good story! When I browse through a magazine or a blog post, I love finding “true stories,” real stories that happened to real people!

There have been many times that the Lord has led me to share with family members or friends how He is working in my life. Those conversations led to more discussion about the goodness and faithfulness of God.

Today’s lesson will get you thinking about how you would tell your story, or testimony, to someone else. After you jot down the answers to these questions, you’ll have some conversation starters to share what God has done in your life. So grab a journal, a piece of paper, or open a new note in your phone and jot down your answers to the following questions. 

When did you ask Jesus into your heart?

How did you know that you needed Jesus in your life?

How does He take care of you?

What is one thing He is doing in your life right now? 

Once you have answered these questions, ask the Lord for an opportunity to share them with someone who might not know Jesus.
