Decrees Of Blessing For WomenSample
Blessed with Wisdom
King Solomon was famous for both his wisdom and his wealth (see 1 Kings 10:1–9). Although we know that wisdom’s source is God Himself, we discover in the book of Proverbs that his mother nurtured God’s wisdom into his life.
Women are very beautiful when they are clothed in wisdom. A wise woman exudes God’s glory and beauty in profound and rich ways. Its value is beyond anything in the world we could long for: “It is a more valuable commodity than gold and gemstones, for there is nothing you desire that could compare to her” (Proverbs 3:15).
Wisdom is also called the “principal thing” (Proverbs 4:7 KJV). It is the foundation for many other things in your life. As women, we face many challenges. Wisdom will give us what we need to be victorious in everything we face in life. We also have this assurance from the New Testament: “The wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness" (James 3:17 NASB).
Would you like to be filled and clothed with this wonderful wisdom from God? Ask in faith and receive: "And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and He will give it!” (James 1:5).
Five Bible-Based Decrees
I decree that:
1. I am blessed because I have discovered wisdom, and as a result, I have gained understanding. (Proverbs 3:13)
2. I seek wisdom with all my heart for it is more valuable than silver and hidden treasures. (Proverbs 2:4–5)
3. I do not lack wisdom. It is always available to me. I ask God for it, and He generously grants me all the wisdom I need for every circumstance I face. (James 1:5)
4. Wisdom guards my thoughts, my words, and my ways. (Psalm 39:1)
5. I receive wisdom from heaven that is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. (James 3:17)
