Epic (Part 2): The Storyline Of The BibleSample
God chooses Saul to be king. On the surface, he has the good qualities of being tall and handsome, but he doesn’t feel very qualified for the job.
Saul’s humility is a good thing. Had he thought he was sufficient on his own abilities to do the job, he would believe he didn’t need God. It’s a good idea for all of us to recognize that we can’t accomplish what God wants us to without His help!

About this Plan
This is part two of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
