Epic (Part 2): The Storyline Of The BibleSample
We now see the beginning of Saul’s downfall. His pride begins to overtake him, and he does not follow God’s direction given to him through Samuel. The more he acts like a typical king, the less qualified he is in God’s eyes.
We value decisiveness, but God values seeking him for guidance. We value action, but God sometimes wants us to wait on him.

About this Plan
This is part two of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
