Hope in The MourningSample
When you don’t get the extra time you wanted with your pet, will you be thankful to God for the time you did have with them? Not getting your way doesn’t mean that God didn’t hear your prayers for healing on behalf of your animal. If God, makes a promise know that He is faithful to fulfill that promise.

During his last week with us, Rustie didn’t suffer through a single seizure despite what the doctor expected and had witnessed with animals with an advanced level of kidney failure. Rustie drastically improved during the 72-hour treatment. His blood work numbers were readable and he was even starting to get his strength back, if only for a moment.
I admit I wasn’t ready for Rustie to go, but in the midst of my grief I had to hold on the hope I affirmed and stated publically knowing God is faithful to keep His promise. My father told me, we’ll never be ready to let them go, no time will ever be the right time.

I encourage you to continue to pray for your pet if they are sick or injured. Cherish every moment you have with them. And if your pet has already passed, I encourage you to be grateful for your pet’s life and time that you did have with your pet.
Prayer:
God, I thank You for the time that You have given me with my pet. Thank you for all the fun that we had and the memories that were made and shared. Lord I thank You for the lessons that I learned while my pet was in my care. I confess, that I wanted more time with my pet, and I wanted You to heal them my way. Lord forgive me for not trusting You. I do miss my pet, but just because they are gone, doesn’t mean You didn’t hear my prayers when I asked You for more time with them. I admit that I don’t understand Your ways, but I trust that You are faithful to fulfill Your promise. I may not get my way, but I trust Your way and will continue to hope in You. Lord help me to comfort others as you have comforted me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
