How To Seek The Kingdom Of God?

DAY 7 OF 7

There is more!

Know this...there is more! As my friend Luc Dumont would say, there is something else! Do you believe it? Do you believe that God’s reserves of provision, happiness, and dreams for your life aren’t used up and gone? There’s more! There’s something else!

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (see Matthew 6:33)

Other versions translate the last part of this verse “also,” “besides,” “abundantly.” In other words...more! The cross is God’s "+" sign. Jesus agreed to lose everything so that we could gain more: more peace, more joy, more days in our lives but especially more life in our days.

Throughout His Word, the Lord keeps telling us that He “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Ephesians 3:20)

“Exceedingly abundantly” comes from the Greek "perissos." This means...exceeding a need! Here’s the good news: God wants to do more than respond to your needs. He desires to fill and fulfill you...with His life, with His love, with Him. There’s an inheritance reserved for God’s children!

Believe it: there is an inheritance for you. There is more for your family, for your marriage, for your studies, for your health. It is the inheritance that your Father bequeaths to you:

“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (see Galatians 4:6-7)

What’s in your inheritance? Eternal life...but also promises for this life. When you seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, I firmly believe that God will be fully at work in your life. Everything you need, God possesses!

Open your heart to His today!

Thanks for existing!

Day 6

About this Plan

How To Seek The Kingdom Of God?

I believe that this next week we have together will be wonderful! We’re starting a series of 7 texts to learn how to seek the Kingdom of God, based on Matthew 6:33. We are all seeking more, and we all have expectations for our lives: to be happy, to succeed professionally and personally, to be healthy, to overcome our limits, etc.
