New Clothes.

“No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.” Matthew 9:16 KJV

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can’t take your sin, old habits and old ways into your future. Leave your old man behind. Proverbs 26:11 KJV states, “As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.” 

Returning to your old ways, after turning to Christ, is like returning to something your body has already rejected. When you are in Christ, you’ll start to feel how God feels about sin. You can’t embrace the same things that God abhors. Let God transform you completely. Begin again and love the things that God loves. Let God fill you with His Wisdom and lead you with His Love. 

Let Christ lead your heart and transform your life. Release the old habits of the past and choose to move forward in Christ. Let Christ take the taste of sin from your life forever and choose not to put on the soiled garments of the past. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 1 Peter 2:9 KJV
