Wisdom Of The Teacher For College Students, Ch. 4.Sample

Wisdom Of The Teacher For College Students, Ch. 4.

DAY 3 OF 5

Simon Sinek wrote the book, Start With Why, which is an excellent book in my opinion. The person who is the focus of the Teacher in these verses could have benefited from reading it! Knowing why you are working so hard can bring meaning to the work and magnify the benefits of it.

This person works so hard to accumulate stuff and never stops to enjoy any of it. That would be bad, but this person doesn’t even have anyone to share it with, either now or to pass it on to when they die. They are striving endlessly alone without ever stopping to ask why.

Have you thought about why you are doing what you are doing? Why are you majoring in what you are majoring in at college? Why do you want to pursue the career that you think you want to pursue?

Without asking why, you’ll likely end up doing something you aren’t passionate about. Without clear planning, you might find yourself utterly alone in your pursuit of the golden dream. Without asking why, you might find yourself in the same boat as the person in these verses!
