Why Do We Need The Bible
The Bible is God’s autobiography. God orchestrated the writing of His word so that His people can learn about His character, learn about His promises, and learn about who we are in Him. God gave us the Bible to help us navigate life. The Bible says that God’s word is a “lamp to our feet, and a light to our path”. This means that God’s word, the Bible, is a guide to how we should live and the way that we should go.
The Bible also helps us build our faith in God as we read and study it. When we read the stories about how God rescued, protected, and loved His people, we can trust that He will do the same for us. By reading the Bible, we hear the message of love that He is sending us. We also learn how to fight the enemy when he comes against us. The Bible is described as a “sword” that we use in spiritual battles. We need God’s word to teach us the truth and to help us stand against the devil. God’s word guides us in life, builds our faith in Him, and helps us battle the enemy.
About this Plan
This plan will focus on the foundational biblical principles every Christian should build their life on. This plan will help students focus on the Word of God, as well as discuss the necessity of having a prayer life and the benefits of spending time with God daily. We believe this could be the start for the great spiritual growth in a student’s life!
