Beast ModeSample
Day 5 – Sacrifice
Have you ever trained in sports for a race, or a big game? How about training for marching band or a vocal competition? If you’ve ever competed for any of these, you know the sacrifice it takes to be good at what you do. The more you train, the better the performance, right?
Paul understood that this principle also applies in our walk with God. As followers of Christ, we know what Jesus has done for us on the cross, and we know that He has commanded us to go out into the world and win souls for Him. But in order to do that, we need to go into strict training.
A minister doesn’t simply walk up in front of everybody and begin talking; they study the Scriptures, they walk with God, they talk with God, they apply what they learn in their personal lives; and they shine the light of Jesus on all those around them. Have you considered that all these things should apply to all of us as Christians? We should all be studying the Bible and praying; we should all be asking God to transform us to be more like him every day. When we do that, we’ll be so thankful for all that God is doing in our lives; and how could we not shine the light of Jesus on everyone around us?
Paul, a man who lived Beast Mode for Christ, trained everyday to be more like Jesus. We need to do the same. As you finish this study, ask yourself: What does it mean to live ‘Beast Mode’ for Christ?
Prayer: Lord, I want to live Beast Mode for you. Help me to train every day to be more like you. Help me to live in such a way that I’m shining your light on everyone around me. Help those around me to desire to be like you too. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

About this Plan
This plan is geared for students, and it is all about life of the Apostle Paul. He lived ‘Beast Mode’ every day. He was relentless in bringing the Gospel to all people; no matter the opposition... or the consequences. It’s a challenge to us as Christians to be bold in proclaiming the name of Jesus.
