Sent: Eavesdropping On Jesus

DAY 4 OF 5

Jesus assumed that those who chose to follow Him would automatically share the Gospel, or the good news of His death and resurrection and the forgiveness made possible through them, with others. When we follow through, it’s going to draw the attention of people who haven’t yet put their faith in the Gospel.  They’re going to watch how we behave—specifically how we treat each other—to see if there’s anything to the message we preach. If they catch us treating each other with anything less than the goodness, grace, mercy, and kindness of God the Father, they are going to doubt His presence in our lives, our message, and its power to do anything for them. They may never put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation or give God the glory He deserves.

This being true, we must do our best with the Holy Spirit’s help to love each other the way God loves us, forgiving and encouraging one another as we figure out how to live for God’s glory each at the pace and in the way God has laid out for us.

Thank God for the privilege of loving your brothers and sisters in Jesus so those who don’t know Him will have a chance to see His character demonstrated in you.

About this Plan

Sent: Eavesdropping On Jesus

You’ve heard people talk about God and Jesus, but what if you had the chance to hear Jesus talk to God about you? Would you take it? What if you knew what you heard would be good? In this study, you’ll get the chance to eavesdrop on Jesus and discover just how much He loves you. It’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
