One of the things Jesus stressed over and over again in His teachings was the importance of loving others in the same way we love ourselves. In other words, Jesus wants us to treat other people the way we hope to be treated. The same words, actions, and behaviors we want others to use toward us are the words, actions, and behaviors we should use toward the people in our lives. When we love others the same way we want to be loved, we’re not only setting the standard for how we want to be treated, but we’re also living out God’s command to love in our lives. This week, make a list of the ways you want other people to treat you and show you love. Then, take steps to do some of the things on your list for other people in your life. Follow God’s command to love them the way you want to be loved.

A reading plan about God’s plan for sex in our lives. Because God made you, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Because God made us all, all of us are valuable. Because God made sex, sexual things matter. Because God made you, you are in control of your own body.
