Have you ever felt separated from God’s love? If we’re honest, we all would probably say we’ve felt a little distant or undeserving of God’s love from time to time. Our mistakes, our attitudes, our anger, our choices, our guilt, our shame—all of these things have the potential to make us feel removed or separated from the love of God. When you feel that way, remember that feelings aren’t always telling us what’s true. Though we may feel separated from God’s love, the truth is that God’s love can never be taken from us. Nothing can remove the love God has for us from our lives. Write this verse down this week. Post it somewhere that you’ll see it often. Let it be a reminder that God’s love for you is constant, unfailing, and something that can never be taken from you.
