Faith That Delivers

DAY 5 OF 5

Day Five: Encouragement

Faith delivers!

God is the object of faith, and there is no failure in God. If we experience failure in our faith walk, instead of blaming or doubting God, we need to confront ourselves. We should assess how well our conduct aligned with the 3 basic steps of faith:

1. Believe: Did we have confidence that God and His Word are true and His Word will do for us what it says?

2. Receive: Did we have trusting hearts to receive God's Word and renewed minds to see ourselves with the desired results promised in God's Word?

3. Act: Did we consistently say God's Word with relentless confidence and, as led by the Holy Spirit, take corresponding preparatory actions for physical manifestation of the desired results?

Truthful assessment will guide us in making needed corrections to experience and use what God has so lovingly provided for us. God wants us to have the good gifts He's provided! If you've failed in some aspect, don't make the failure final. Decide to try again. God loves you. Ask Him for wisdom and He will liberally give you wisdom without belittling you. God is not mad at you, and He will not withhold any good thing from you.

God is for you and He loves you. God's thoughts about believers, His beloved children, include the following:

—"...I have loved you with an everlasting love..." (Jeremiah 31:3 Amplified Bible )

—"Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." (Isaiah 43:1–2 New Living Translation)

God will meet you where you are. Put His Word in your heart; see Jesus as the Living Word demonstrating God's love for us all, and let the Holy Spirit lead you in experiencing Faith That Delivers.

Don't fear. Take courage! As a believer, God has given you the measure of faith. Develop it and be skillful in exercising Faith That Delivers!
