Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 2Sample
Two trumpets are made for signaling. On the twentieth day of the second month 1490 BC, after almost one year at Sinai, they start their journey. At their next camp their complaining attracts fire from God until Moses prays for forgiveness. When God provides meat, their greed brings sickness and many die. To help Moses, God appoints 70 elders. Miriam’s rebellion results in leprosy until Moses begs for God’s mercy. After seven days, they march to the Paran wilderness near the Canaan border.
