Just Jesus: Answers For LifeSample
Marriage
Marriage mirrors God’s covenant love for us as in the union between Jesus and His church. God’s purpose or intention for marriage is companionship that reflects His love. God is not alone nor does He want us to be alone. Learn to live out the capacities God designed for you and bring them into your marriage. Sacrificial relationship leads to deep and lasting love. It’s what makes marriage not easy, but safe. Respect and appreciate each other with kindness and understanding. We all have different gifts that we bring into relationship. No two marriages look alike. What’s good for one may not be good for another. What matters are not external appearances, but rather heart issues. Working out our life issues in a covenant relationship is the safest place for transformation. No one will speak truth to you like your spouse. Marriage is the crucible of life transformation. Does your marriage mirror God’s love?
Memory Verse
“...Peace be to you.” John 20:19b.
Declaration Prayer
We are encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. We have complete confidence in understanding Your mysterious plan, which is Christ Himself, where all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge lie hidden. My love is patient and kind, not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. I will not demand my own way or be irritable. Protect me from keeping any record of being wronged. I will not rejoice about injustice but rejoice whenever the truth wins out. Your love in me never gives up, never loses faith, will always be hopeful, and endure through every circumstance. May Your perfect love cast out all fear. Love through me, Lord.

About this Plan
There’s one Person you can count on in life. Jesus is there for you in everything. We want to belong, be loved and know we’re not alone in what we face. The worst part of life isn’t having problems – it’s being alone in the problem. You’re never alone. Jesus is with you always.
