Make It Count

Scripture: Hebrews 3:13

If you take a step back and look at the bigger (eternal) picture, you will quickly realize why your womanhood is so important. You only get one shot at doing things right. You only get one life to live for Christ. Every minute, hour, day, and year that passes can never be reclaimed. Your choices matter. That is why we are so passionate about the message of God-defined womanhood.

We’ve seen far too many Christian women fail to serve Christ. We’ve seen far too many Christian women fall prey to counterfeit femininity. We’ve seen far too many Christian women pour their entire lives into a bottomless jar. We don’t want this to happen to you. We don’t want it to happen to us. Since no one can know when their last day on this earth will be, we must be intentional with the time we have. Our days are already numbered by God.

The fact that you’re reading right now proves God isn’t done with you. He has work for you to do on this earth. You are alive right now because He has a God-defined assignment for you to fulfill. He wants to use you in a powerful way to display His glory and gospel to everyone who sees you. He wants to use your life to model the character and nature of Christ in your sphere of influence and turn heads in a new direction.

You are God’s earthly representative. You are alive for such a time as this. The question is this: Will you obey Him? Will you choose to live your life for His glory and not your own? Will you choose His design for your womanhood over the influences of secular culture? Will you be brave?

When forever comes, only the things you did for Christ will truly matter. Everything else will fade into the background. Our prayer is that each one of us will catch and nurture an eternal vision for life. May we not waste one day. May we not waste one opportunity. Make it count. When forever comes and our short lives on this earth are done, it will have been well worth the effort.
