How Great is Your God?

There is an awesome, infinite difference between God and man. Certainly He is all-knowing and all-powerful, and everything about Him transcends our limited understanding. You can also confidently say that everything He does is too wonderful and too great for your mind or your senses to comprehend. Even His thoughts toward you are too numerous for you to count. It really isn’t surprising, then, that God is able to do more than you can even imagine.

However, it is surprising that we find it hard to trust Him in small matters. Have we developed a mental image of God that is smaller than He actually is? Is our God too small? His great power is always working within us to raise our level of faith so that we can align ourselves with the greatness of His character and promises.

It is more difficult to receive when you do not believe. God is always challenging you to trust Him for greater things in the present than you did in the past. Welcome His challenges and grow in faith!

You are an exceedingly, abundantly great God. No matter how difficult my situation is, you are greater still. Your power is working in me for your glory and honor. Amen.
