Day Seven
Being Continually Transformed
Discovering who God has created you to be, and the purpose He has called you to is a journey that will continue to transform and shape you. No book, seminar, or class can tell you exactly who you are and what you are supposed to do for the rest of your life, but these things can give you the tools to start that exciting and beautiful adventure.
Some of the most inspiring people I know are the people in their seventies and eighties who are still dreaming and taking risks for something they are passionate about. They are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone, and they know that God has given them a purpose to help others. It takes personal sacrifice, learning more about yourself without becoming selfish, surrendering to God, and becoming okay with being uncomfortable.
God is doing a transforming work in you as you set your mind on Him. You have to receive His love in order to give His love to others. So start by coming before Him in worship, and as you humble yourself before Him, receive the love and truth that He speaks over you. Your calling is going to be amazing and joyful because it is exactly what you are created for.
