You will not perish!

We have already arrived at the last day of this "Don't give up here" week, and I hope you were able to take a lot with you on this journey. Today I encourage you to put all you've heard into practice in your life and turn your "I can't do it anymore" into "now I believe even more!"

I woke up this morning and suddenly I felt this weight on me. I have so many precious friends who believe in God, but just don't understand that it goes so much deeper than "yes, yes, I believe in God."

Inside of me these thoughts got louder: "Well, you've been praying for them for so long, nothing's going to happen anyway."

As soon as you stop trusting God, you start drowning in your hopelessness, sadness or despair. That's a fact.

Peter had literally experienced this. He had Jesus in front of him, "But when Peter saw the wind, he was afraid. He began to sink…." (Matthew 14:30 NIRV)

Yet THOSE are the moments when you MUST cling to the Word of God if you don't want to sink! If we truly believe, we will not cease to be amazed at God's possibilities!

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11 NIV)

What is the area in which you, are in danger of sinking today? Perhaps it is prayer that doesn't seem to be getting through to God? Prayer for your children who have lost their way, and despite your cries for help, nothing seems to change?

Then cling to the Word of God—yes, even a thousand times! Your prayers will not come back empty because God is a God who keeps His word (see 1 Kings 8:56 NIV)

Why am I able to tell you this today? Because my parents prayed for me for many years when I had gone astray. It looked hopeless, but God not only got me out of it, He was already planning a story of hope for others through my life!

Don't give up here!

You are a miracle!
