Is this your day?

What if today you are about to have your big breakthrough? What if this becomes the day you experience what you have dreamed of for so long, or what God promised you long ago?

Test your thoughts (see Proverbs 4:23 NIV), because I imagine the voice in your head is already saying doubtfully, "I don't believe it!"

God had promised Abraham a son, but the years went by and nothing happened! He was already 100 and his wife was 90 years old! It would have been perfectly understandable if Abraham had said, "I don't believe that anymore."

But Abraham believed even then! Surely it was meant to happen before that time, but there were nothing but negative pregnancy tests. No, they didn't have that back in Abraham’s day! So they lived in uncertainty.

Still, he believed that today could be the day because he believed the promised time would surely come! “...”I have made you a father of many nations.” God considers Abraham to be our father. The God that Abraham believed in gives life to the dead. Abraham’s God also creates things that did not exist before. When there was no reason for hope, Abraham believed because he had hope." (Romans 4:17-18 NIRV)

And if you still doubt now, listen to what the verse says just before; “The promise is based on God’s grace. The promise comes by faith. All of Abraham’s children will certainly receive the promise. And it is not only for those who are ruled by the law. Those who have the same faith that Abraham had are also included. He is the father of us all." (from Romans 4:16 NIRV)

Now I ask you again, "Do you believe?" Abraham believed and had a son! You too can have your breakthrough today if you believe that miracles happen!

Let's pray for it: "Jesus, often my faith is so weak. Please strengthen it! I have heard so many times about miracles, now I ask You to let me experience my miracle! Yes, I want to believe! Amen."
