Pride and position seem so natural. Prayer: Dear Lord, I confess it's so easy to look for advantage and recognition, and so difficult to take a secondary role. Too often I prefer to be first, not last, and I admit I'm not always comfortable with the upside-down Kingdom world. But I'm willing to learn and be taught by you. Make me your humble follower and servant. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
