But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:4-6 NIV)

The apostle Paul reminds us in this passage of the amazing love and grace that God has shown us through Jesus Christ. We were once dead in our sins and separated from God, but because of His great love for us, He made us alive in Christ and saved us by His grace.

Not only that, but He raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms. This is a powerful reminder of the new life that we have in Christ and the amazing blessings that come with it.

As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded of the incredible gift that God has given us through His son Jesus Christ. Because of His love and mercy, we have been saved and given new life in Him. We are no longer slaves to sin and death, but have been raised up with Christ and given a new identity as His beloved children.

As we meditate on this passage, may we be reminded of the amazing love and grace that God has shown us through Jesus Christ, and may we be inspired to live each day in the power of this new life.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your great love and mercy that you have shown us through Jesus Christ. We are amazed at the incredible gift of salvation that you have given us and the new life that we have in Him. Help us to remember that we are no longer slaves to sin and death, but have been raised up with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenly realms.

May we live each day in the power of this new life and share your love and grace with those around us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
