Growing in FaithPrzykład
STOP THE RAIN, LORD
We were in Moscow, Russia during Easter. A music stage had been built by Campus Crusade in the Red Square area . There would be a concert and presentation of the Gospel in that place. Thousands of people had gathered and the service would be broadcast on television throughout Russia.
I was there with Dr. Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, in prayer, when someone came and brought the news, "It's raining outside. Because electrical power is off everywhere, government officials say we must stop the program."
"We cannot do that. Much time, money and faith have been sown, “said Bill Bright. The leaders of our program begged the officials to give us 10 more minutes for the rain to stop. It seemed impossible. The grey clouds covered the sky in Kremlin. Cold rain soaked our heads.
A group of prayer warriors gathered under the pulpit and began to sing and pray. I can hear and see them in my memory right now as they looked up at the clouds that were so threatening and shouted, "Lord, stop the rain, stop the rain."
I can testify to you that in 9.5 minutes, an extraordinary event occurred. It seemed that a giant mop was added to the sky. The sun that shone brightly began to smile from the blue sky. God had answered our prayers.
Reflection:
God is our defender. When we do the things He wants, He will move and make sure to equip and help us carry out His plans. Do we have faith that it is not difficult for God to help us when we need His help to do His work?
Perfect faith sees more than what is seen and knows that God is in control throughout life. (Dr. Charles F. Stanley)

This devotion teaches how faith works in every believer's life. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11: 1). When we have strong faith, we will experience many miracles in our lives. May this devotion give us strength and build our faith that God will work in us and through us.
