Breaking The Jonah Culture

Dzień 5 z 5

Carrying This Culture Into Our World

When we are conscious about being inclusive, compassionate and selfless we find it easier to relate and connect to people, irrespective of their background, their appearance or their demeanor.

We will find common ground, and as we know, love finds a way.

Today, love is a most undervalued and over-used word. But what does it actually mean?

Love is a word of action—meaning we don't just say with our words that we love someone, but we show them in our actions that we mean it. Serving people, being gentle with them, and going the extra mile demonstrates this kind of love.

Loving the hard to love, forgiving the unthinkable and praying for those who spite us is counter-cultural and goes against our very nature and instinct

It is not impossible though. With the help of our God we can love people with His love. This culture can't just be limited to the Church but has to be so deeply ingrained in us that it follows us into every space that we occupy, be it a board room, a studio, a college campus, our gym or our PTA.

We will be the first glance many will have of Jesus. Let their first impression be so good that they want more! More of Him!
