Love God Greatly: Words Matter

Dzień 11 z 26

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “condemnation” as “to say in a strong and definite way that someone or something is bad or wrong.” We hear words of condemnation every day, right?

“You shouldn't have done/said/thought that.”

“That's so wrong.”

“You can't do anything right”

Sometimes, these voices never stop.

Condemnation doesn't come from God, but from the devil. Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” As a child of God, there is no condemnation for you. That's what Christianity is about. You´re free from guilt, free from shame, free from fear, free from pain, free from failure.

The devil will try to tell you all the things you do wrong. And, if you´re not careful, you will end up believing his deceiving words. Today, remember you are free. That there is no condemnation for you as God’s child. Don´t speak the condemning words whispered by the enemy of your soul to yourself. Don't allow the devil to plant thoughts that may discourage you. He can´t do it if you don´t let him.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the freedom I have in You. Thank You that there is no condemnation for Your children. Help me speak in a kind manner to myself. In Jesus’ name, amen.
