30 Days In The Gospel Of MarkPrzykład
Thought:
Jesus is alive! The good news of the gospel is that Jesus did not stay dead. After three days, He rose from the dead. He defeated the powers of sin, death, and evil. This means we are free! Because Jesus won the victory over death, we can be raised to new life in Him. The women were so surprised that they were afraid when Jesus’ body was gone. The man in a white robe they saw instructed them to go spread the news that Jesus was alive to the other disciples. We are still carrying out this job today. We are Jesus’ messengers to the world, telling all the people we can the good news: Jesus is alive!
1. Why were the women headed to the tomb? What practical thing were they wondering about on their way there?
2. What did the women see when they arrived?
3. What had happened to Jesus?
4. Where did the women go after they visited the tomb?
Engage:
From the very beginning, right after Jesus’ resurrection, the disciples were told to tell other people about Jesus and His resurrection. Sharing the gospel is an important part of following Jesus, and you are never too young to start! Make a list of three friends or people you know who don’t know Jesus. Pray for these friends every day. Ask God to give you opportunities to share the good news with them. When He gives you opportunities, be brave and tell them about how Jesus died for their sins and that He is alive!
