Scientists did a study on barracuda fish, which are larger fish that eat other smaller fish. They put barracuda fish into a fish tank and dropped smaller fish in there as well. The barracuda fish attacked them. After that, they put a glass in the middle of the tank. A barracuda fish was put on one side of the tank and smaller fish were put on the other side of the tank. The glass barrier was invisible, so the barracuda fish went to attack the other smaller fish head on, and hit the glass hard. It kept hitting the glass at first, then it began to slowly approach the glass to touch it. After a few days, the glass was removed, and surprisingly the barracuda fish never swam to the other side to attack the smaller fish. They came to the conclusion that even though the glass barrier was removed from the tank, it was still engraved in the mind of the fish. 

We all hit certain glass walls in our lives, and after repeated failures, these defeats enter us. Even if these limits would be removed in the spiritual realm, we would still be limited, because it also needs to be removed in our minds. 

We must understand that demons come quickly and usually exit at the same speed. Strongholds are built over time and get destroyed over time. The Devil is not only interested in breaking your life, but also building a mindset in you, so that even when he is gone, you will still live in pain as though he is still there. A stronghold is the house the Devil builds in your mind. It is a house for the strongman. 

This house of thoughts includes repeated thoughts of doubt, fear, condemnation, unworthiness, lies, and negativity. It takes the Devil a while to build this in our minds, but once it is built, he has a place to call home. Strongholds are the Devil’s residence. You can expel demons, but if you do not break down the strongholds, he can still torment your life by the mindset he formed in you.
